Mao is an operations research specialist with a distinguished background in management consulting and development finance. He has successfully supervised and managed high-value projects totaling hundreds of millions of dollars, consistently delivering operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.
He holds a degree in Economics and Statistics from Brigham Young University and brings to the organization a wealth of experience in strategic business development across Africa. Mao's analytical expertise and leadership acumen continue to drive value creation and sustainable growth in complex and dynamic markets.
Kaura Kaura — Managing Director
A geologist by training, with close to twenty years of experience in various sectors of the Namibian economy.
Kaura has worked and consulted for a number of international mineral and petroleum exploration companies within Namibia and southern Africa, occupying various positions including Exploration Geologist, Deputy General Manager, Country Manager, etc.
Kaura has a comprehensive knowledge of Namibian Laws and Regulations that govern the extractive industry as well as the petroleum sector and he also has a good understanding of the country's geology and experience in the exploration of a wide range of commodities including but not restricted to oil and gas, gold, uranium, iron ore, vanadium, REE, diamonds and Oil and Gas Exploration.
Kaura was a member of the British Business group (BBG), the Chamber of Mines (COM), and one of the founding directors of the Namibia Petroleum Operators Association (NAMPOA) and served in several subcommittees that were setup to liaise with government departments and other stakeholders on various matters.
